Dear children! With motherly love I implore you to give me your hands, permit me to lead you. I, as a mother, desire to save you from restlessness, despair and eternal exile. My Son, by His death on the Cross, showed how much He loves you; He sacrificed Himself for your sake and the sake of your sins. Do not keep rejecting His sacrifice and do not keep renewing His sufferings with your sins. Do not keep shutting the doors of Heaven to yourselves. My children, do not waste time. Nothing is more important than unity in my Son. I will help you because the Heavenly Father is sending me so that, together, we can show the way of grace and salvation to all those who do not know Him. Do not be hard hearted. Have confidence in me and adore my Son. My children, you can not be without the shepherds. May they be in your prayers every day. Thank you.
Our Lady's Message Given During Ivan's Apparition on December 31, 2011
“Dear children, the Mother blesses you with joy. Be carriers of my messages in this tired world. Welcome my messages with responsibility. Dear children, pray together with me for the plans that must be realized. Especially tonight, I call you to pray for unity of the Church and my priests. Dear children, pray, pray, pray. The Mother prays with you and intercedes before Her Son for each one of you. Thank you also today for having responded to my call, and for accepting my messages, and living my messages.”
Our Lady prayed for a while over each one of us, and blessed us with Her Special Motherly Blessing. Our Lady blessed the religious articles that were brought to be blessed. Then Our Lady prayed especially for you, the sick present here. Then Ivan recommended all our needs, and our intentions. In a special way, Ivan recommended all the sick. Then Our Lady extended Her hands and prayed over us. She then left in the illuminated sign of the cross, saying, “Go in peace, my dear children.”

Eucharistic Procession begins at 10:45 (immediately following Mass) to Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6363 St. Charles Ave. for the Solemn Benediction
All are invited to participate in the Mass at the Shrine, or to walk the one mile Eucharistic Procession in the shade of the Historic Oak Trees on State Street, or join us at Holy Name for the special Solemn Benediction. "Together in Spirit" the first FREE Catholic Concert Series for 2012 was a complete success!
The prayerful and supportive effort of The MIR Group, the Men of MIR and many prayer groups and ministries in the archdiocese for the 1st Concert on Friday Evening May 4, 2012 at the Lafreniere Park Pavillion was a SPIRIT FILLED SUCCESS!!
This evening featured a variety of Catholic musical talent including: Kitty Cleveland Greg Boudreaux and Communion of the Restless Mark Griswold's Praise and Worship Experience and Special Guests: Father John Jesus Moloney from Laredo, Texas Deacon Jean Paul Prat from Lyons, France
The people came with their families and friends, their chairs and blankets, their picnic baskets, and their open hearts! The night was a beautiful night of celebrating our Catholic faith in song! Over 300 of the faithful joined us!!

Mimi has been the director of the local Medjugorje Center, The MIR Group, for the better part of the last 25 years – finding her way to MIR after her first pilgrimage to Medjugorje in 1987. Prior to that she was a mom and a full time volunteer in church and her kids’ schools, serving in many capacities – parish festival chairman, PTA president, teacher and principal of the religion program, director of altar boys, substitute teacher and volunteer in the schools - whenever and for whatever needed.
Since taking on the mission of MIR in 1989, Mimi has devoted her life to disseminating the Message of Our Lady of Medjugorje, that of Peace, Prayer, Fasting, Reconciliation and Conversion. Through MIR, the message has been shared with thousands in many ways, including through conferences, Masses, dinners and especially through the blessing of having events with Medjugorje visionaries and priests.
Mimi, has assisted several local religious organizations, including being the coordinator of the Abbey Youth Festival for 6 years and is now the retired director of MIR. She still serves on their board and is currently the coordinator for Legatus, an organization of Catholic CEOs and their spouses.
Mimi has two children and five grandchildren (her pride and joy).

A Healing: Testimony of Margarita Rodriguez
This is a Testimony by Margarita Rodrigues, who is now sharing with us a Healing she received when Medjugorje visionary Ivan visited her parish.
I want to share with you some wonderful news of the day we had in our church Saint Brendan's the visit of Medjugorje visionary Ivan and the apparition of the Blessed Mother.
On that day Our Lady asked her Son Jesus to take care of me. My big problem is that I have been short of breath- and that is because of my operation which was back in 1987. The doctor had to remove half of my diaphragm and since then I have been very short of breath, but about a year ago I became much worst, and my right lung collapsed.
I went to a specialist a Doctor of Pulmonary disease and he sent me to do a Scan, and also a test to see how my oxygen level was. The test showed that I had less than 60% function in my lung. So I was really bad, with my shortness of breath, I have to sleep with 3 pillows to be able to sleep, and when I am doing my housework I do it, and then I have to rest.
The doctor told me I am sorry Margarita I can do nothing more to help you, you have to live with this condition the best way you can.
I accepted what the doctor told me and that was fine and then I offered to Our Lord the little I have to offer Him.
I said to Jesus, I offer the little that I have to You because You have suffered so much for us, and our sins and You continue your suffering for us..
When I went to my church to talk to Father Fernando Heria with my friend Mary Fernandez and her husband Manolo to discuss the preparation of the day IVAN was coming to Miami and the Apparition of Our Blessed Mother. It was then that Father Fernando asked me to pray and lead the Rosary. I said yes of course -and I was so happy- but then I was worried because of my acute shortness of breath and my cough.
Fr. Basil Burns could not understand the standing ovation that he received after reading this poem as his homily while in Medjugorje. I do! Listen to it and you will, too! It deals with the problem that so many things we do seem so unfair -- things we did not choose.

Please watch this uplifting video and share it with your family. Vicka - one of the Medjugorje visionaries went on the Late Late show in Ireland the other night and spoke and was interviewed. It was kind of a rare thing for her to be on a secular media show. She was incredible. The glow of God was emanating out of her face and did not stop. It is so beautiful. There could not be a question that she has seen Our Lady for these past years on a daily basis after watching her.
